Led by Dr. Wohn, Assistant Professor of Violin and Chair of the String Division, the Ohio University School of Music’s Violin Studio includes students studying in varied degree programs. The School of Music offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in Music Performance, Pedagogy, Therapy and Music Education as well as the Bachelor of Arts degree for those who wish to pursue a double degree or minor in music.

Students have ample performance/tour opportunities beyond recitals in varied ensembles such as the Symphony Orchestra, New Music Ensemble, Chamber Music as well as in guest masterclasses, as well as the annual violin studio project which takes place outside of the school and involves the community at large.

As an educator, Dr. Wohn believes in building a community for students that fosters curiosity and support and provides diverse and varied experiences. Her teaching style is one that focuses on individual learning styles and goals and provides students with tools to continue to improve and learn outside the classroom.

In addition to her teaching at OU, Dr. Wohn is a frequent guest teacher and gives masterclass at various Universities and Music Programs and teaches during the summers at the International Music Festival of the Adriatic.
