Northern Lights Festival, back to Mexico

I had a great time at Northern Lights Festival, this year marked my 3rd time at the festival.

Highlights included playing Enescu Octet for the first time- I started out hating the piece, and grew to love it. I want to play it again so badly!!!

No festival would be complete without a trip to the spa! Musicians need some time off too!

Sandwiched between the Canadians…. Jamie Parker of the Gryphon Trio and violinist Ben Bowman. We chose to take a picture in front of the scenic bathroom!

After playing in the jazz concert- King of Sax Richard Underhill, violist Kim Mai Ngyugen, Kansas University’s violin professor Veronique Mathieu, bassist Jesse Dietschi, drummer Daniel Barnes, and pianist Ben Hognestad.

This year’s preseason games in the National Football League given much excitement to every single sports enthusiast.
We discovered that the Intex Seahawk 400 was tough to
maneuver if you find lots off wind. A local secondary
school, the Peninsula High School, submitted the
name Seahawks.
